With a career in technical development spanning over 20 years, our project manager, Chris Daniels has an invaluable knowledge of project management from software developments with 75,000+ lines of C++ code, mechanical projects with over 10,000 modeled parts, electronic design using state-of-the-art processors, peripherals and DSP, web-sites with asp and .net and company IT systems.

His experience is in taking on projects and delivering on time, in budget.

Processes

Prince 2 is the most widespread project management process with most companies operating a similar, though rarely identical, process. Within the software world there are other specific management processes such as UML, OO and RUP that enable projects to be broken into manageable chunks.

Usually MS-Project is used as the project management tool which enables the provision of GANTT charts to monitor progress of projects against defined milestones. This tool meets the needs of most large corporations.
