Retford Hub
is a showcase for North Notts. It incorporates an arts
centre with art gallery, workshops and resident artists
studios with a farm shop selling local fruit & vegetables,
artisan cheese counter and a wide variety of products. We
have over 50 artisans' and 30 artists' work on permanent
display and our gallery features special exhibitions.
The centre
also houses the Tourist Information for North Notts, and the
full range of services is available for visitors and
residents.
In addition
we run many events related to the arts within Retford.
The centre is
run entirely by volunteers and does not make a profit, its
aim being to promote local arts, attract tourists, support
local business and provide an arts centre for the people of
Retford.
If you would like to
join our team of 35 volunteers, and work in an environment
that is exciting, challenging and varied, and would
like to get involved from a few hours a week, or willing to help
out with such activities as decorating, maintenance, putting
up shelves... |
